1. Approach
the staircase.
2. Spread on the piece mortar
enough to get the piece adjusts to the approach of the staircase. The quantity
of mortar required for a correct adherence is the same that it is used for any
other common product in masonry (hollow brick, etc...)
3. To level the step, we
will use a level, tapping the piece with a rubber hammer to reach the
appropriate level. To avoid that the piece moves down while tapping it for
levelling, we will place two wooden wedges at the bottom of the piece, to
prevent the piece moves down. These wedges can be removed once the piece has
been levelled.
